How to Play Pick 6 Lotto
The NJ Lottery launched a new version of Pick-6 on April 7, 2022. Updates include a reduced ball pool with improved odds, a multiplier on every ticket, a Double Play option with a $250,000 jackpot, and an increased $2 ticket cost.
- Playing the Pick-6 is easy! You just need to pick six numbers, between 1 - 46. The jackpot starts at $2 million and continues to roll over and grow until it's won.
- You can choose your own numbers or choose a Quick Pick option of randomly selected numbers for a bit of variety.
- The XTRA multiplier is included in every Pick-6 ticket, and can increase any non-jackpot prize won from 2 - 10 times, depending on the XTRA number drawn.
- Add the Double Play option for the chance to win up to $250,000. Double Play costs an extra $1 per play. A Double Play draw is held after every Pick-6 draw and you can win on either draw, or both.
- Each Pick-6 play costs $2 and tickets must be purchased before 10:53 pm ET on Mondays or Thursdays, before the draws.
- Draws take place each Monday and Thursday around 10:57 pm ET.
- A multi-draw option is available if you want to play the same numbers again, for up to 26 consecutive drawings.
