Pick 4

The New Jersey Pick-4 is a twice-daily game that you can win great cash prizes on. It is easy to play, and with five different ways to play, you can have fun while you win cash prizes. Or you can add the Fireball to your ticket for higher prizes, or the Instant Win for a chance to win $500 on the spot! Play both draws for more chance of a win.

Playing Pick-4

  1. You need to buy your ticket before 12:53 pm for the afternoon draw and 7:53 pm for the evening draw.
  2. Choose your numbers, from 0 - 9. Use your own numbers or choose the Quick Pick option to randomly make a selection of numbers. You can use the same number multiple times.
  3. Choose from one of the five different ways to play with.
  4. Make a wager, between $0.50 - $5.
  5. Choose whether to play either midday, evening or both, for more chance of a win.
  6. Add the Fireball option to enhance your ticket, which doubles the cost of your ticket.
  7. Try adding Instant Match to your ticket, which costs $1 per play, but could win you an instant $500!
  8. Afternoon draws occur at 12:59 pm, while the evening draw takes place at 7:57 pm.

Play Styles

There are five ways to play Pick-4 to win different prizes:

  1. Straight: Match your winning numbers in the exact order
  2. Box: The winning numbers can match in any order
  3. Straight & Box: Match the winning numbers in any order, or in the exact order
  4. Wheel: All possible straight combinations of your chosen numbers
  5. Pairs: Choose two numbers, Instead of selecting three. These 2 numbers must then match either the first pair, the last pair, or the front and back two winning numbers in the exact order

Claiming your Prize

  1. Player’s must be 18 or older to play.
  2. Draws are made for the Pick-3 twice a day: Afternoon at 12:59 pm ET and Evening 7:57 pm ET.
  3. Prizes under $599.50 can be claimed at New Jersey retailers.
  4. Straight/Box: This is just the combination of Straight and Box bets into a single purchase. Here you can win the Straight AND the Box prizes if you match all winning numbers in the exact order. Minimum wager on this bet is $1, or if you add Fireball, it is doubled to $2.
